DEACON EDWARD WEST
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward West who passed away peacefully on May 25th, 2026, at the Georges Dumont Hospital (Moncton NB).
Edward is survived by his wife Karen of 45 years; son Andrew and sisters Anne Marie (Gord) and Laura (Doug).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers John and Eric.
Edward was proud of his faith, serving as a deacon for 30 years. He spent many years helping at the soup kitchen on Mountain Road. Edward was an Electrical Engineer, working for Canadian Gypsum Company, for 50 years traveling much of the world during this time.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home there will be public visitation on Tuesday June 2nd, 2026, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 7:00pm-9:00pm, which will be followed by a funeral service at St. Bernard Church (Moncton NB) on Wednesday June 3rd, 2026, at 11:00am.
